14 year old Tim Berry cruised to his first ever National Qualifying Time today at the Link Centre winning the 200m butterfly in a time of 2.18.89. He booked his place at the National Age Group Championships at Ponds Forge, in Sheffield in July having completed the event more than one second inside the qualifying time.
Meanwhile 12 year old James Clark was in sparkling form in the 100m breaststroke just missing out on his NQT by .23 of a second.
The meet continues tomorrow.
