Event: South West Age Group Regional Championships (50m)

Day 2:
Samantha Berry remains Swindon Dolphin’s star performer at the 2007 South West Age Group Regional Championships at Millfield School. The 11 year old took another gold today in the 200m butterfly in a time of 2.47.48, less than one second outside her NQT.
Liam Herbert was in top form in the boys' 100m backstroke winning a bronze medal in the final.
Charlotte Pitts had another good day finishing 6th in the girls’ 10 year 100m breaststroke final.
Elizabeth Beckett (14 yrs) was 6th in the 800m freestyle and Tim Berry (14 yrs) was 8th in the 400m Individual Medley – both less than one second outside their NQTs.
James Clark was 5th in the 400m IM and was in action in two further finals coming home eight in the 100m back & 200m free.
Joe Kerslake (13), Haley Innes (13), and Katie Carter (12) all swam very well.
The championships continue next weekend.
